How to paper trade memecoins.

Install Ghostbag, open any coin on a terminal you already use, and start buying with money that isn't yours. No account, no email, no wallet connection, nothing to sign.

  1. 01

    Install the extension

Download the release from the download page and unzip it. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode in the top right, click Load unpacked, and select the unzipped folder. The ghost icon appears in your toolbar.

  2. 02

Open a coin on any supported terminal

Go to pump.fun, Axiom, Padre, Photon, BullX, GMGN, DexScreener or four.meme and open any token. The panel appears beside the chart, names the coin and starts pricing it from live market data. Drag it by the header — it remembers where you put it, per site.

  3. 03

    Check your paper wallet

You start with 10 SOL on Solana, 5 BNB on BNB Chain and 1 ETH on Robinhood Chain. There is no cap — set any balance you like in settings. Rehearsing a 500 SOL size is as valid as a 0.5 SOL one.

  4. 04

    Click a size to buy

Each preset is the order. Click 0.1, 0.5, 1 or any size you configure and the paper buy executes immediately at the live price — no amount box, no confirm step. Rapid clicks queue and fill in order.

  5. 05

    Watch the position tape

Invested, sold, remaining and PnL update on every tick, net of every fee, with your average fill, entry market cap and current market-cap multiple underneath. Switch between the native coin and USD with one click.

  6. 06

    Sell, then read the evidence

Sell a percentage with one click, or use Sell initials to recover exactly your stake after impact and fees and let the rest ride. Every fill lands in your history with the contract, market cap, price impact and result — then review your win rate, hold times and daily PnL calendar in the dashboard.

Worth knowing

Four things new paper traders get wrong.

A flat round trip loses money

Buy and sell at the same price and you are down roughly 4%. That is not a bug — it is the platform fee, the LP fee and the network costs, charged twice. If a paper tool shows you breaking even, it is teaching you something false.

Your size moves the price

One SOL into a $3,000 pool is a very different trade from one SOL into a $300,000 pool. Ghostbag shows the impact before you commit and colours the strip amber, then red, as it gets expensive.

Transactions can fail

Turn on failure simulation in advanced settings and underpaying priority on a fast token will revert — and the fees are still gone. Off by default, so an ordinary click always fills.

Selling initials is not division

Recovering your stake is not invested ÷ price. Impact and fees make proceeds non-linear, so Ghostbag binary-searches the real quote to find the exact number of tokens to sell.

Keyboard

Faster than the mouse.

These only fire while the panel has focus, so they never collide with the host site's own hotkeys.
