Market cap is commonly token price multiplied by circulating supply. Fully diluted valuation uses the maximum or total possible supply. A chart can show different figures when its supply assumptions differ.
Assets available in a trading pool. Thin liquidity means a modest order can move the price sharply, and a position that looks valuable at the headline price may be impossible to exit at that value.
Short for developer or creator. “Dev wallet” usually means an address controlled by the creator or team. It is a clue, not an identity guarantee: control can be split across multiple addresses.
A share of trading fees routed to a token creator under a platform’s current rules. The percentage is platform- and pool-specific, so check the live official fee schedule rather than relying on an old screenshot.
Fear of missing out—the pressure to enter because price is rising or other people claim the opportunity is disappearing. Urgency reduces verification time and is a common ingredient in manipulation.
MEV is value obtained through transaction inclusion, exclusion or ordering. A sandwich places transactions around a victim’s swap, worsening the victim’s price. Slippage settings influence how much deterioration an order accepts.
A trader or automated system that tries to enter immediately when trading opens. Speed does not eliminate the risks of bad token authorities, hidden allocations, thin liquidity or a faster exit by insiders.
A group of transactions submitted for coordinated ordering or execution. Bundle activity can be used legitimately, but concentrated launch buying across linked wallets can also obscure ownership.
A bonding curve prices tokens through a formula as participants buy and sell. On launch platforms, graduation typically moves a completed curve into an automated-market-maker pool.
Using separate addresses for separate jobs or risk limits. It can reduce exposure if a trading wallet is compromised, but only if seed phrases, approvals and transfers are handled safely.
A broad term for insiders abandoning or exploiting a project, often through liquidity removal, concentrated selling, malicious permissions or deception. On-chain warning signs are useful, but none is a guarantee.
