Ghostbag does not upload your paper-trade history to a Ghostbag server. The extension has no Ghostbag account, analytics or telemetry. It does make network requests for market data and token images. Chrome can sync settings, and contacting support sends us the information you include in your message.

What is stored, and where

Your paper wallets, positions and full trade history are stored in your own browser, in its local IndexedDB database. Your settings are stored in Chrome’s extension storage and sync between your own signed-in Chrome profiles if you have sync enabled. An optional market-feed access key is stored locally on that machine only and is deliberately never synced.

The panel background picture

If you choose a background image or GIF for the trading panel, that file is read in your browser and kept in the extension’s local storage on that machine. It is deliberately not put in Chrome’s sync storage, so it never leaves the computer you chose it on and never travels between your devices. Removing it in Dashboard → Extension settings → Appearance deletes it. Uninstalling the extension deletes it with everything else.

Quick Buy and the on-screen P&L tracker

Quick Buy adds a paper-order control beside coin rows on supported terminals, and the P&L tracker is a draggable card showing your simulated balance. Both read the page only for the token identifiers already described below, and both write nothing anywhere except your own browser. Where you drag the tracker is remembered locally, per site, so it reappears where you left it.

What leaves your browser

Only read-only market lookups. To show a live price the extension can request:

Public token prices, pool reserves, supply and liquidity
Public token metadata such as decimals and images
Public chain information such as the current gas price
Public launch and swap updates for the token on screen

Market requests can include the selected token or pool address, chain, query parameters and public RPC method details. Providers receive ordinary connection metadata, including your IP address and potentially browser information. Approved image hosts receive requests when token artwork is displayed. An optional market-feed access key is sent to its provider for authentication; it is not sent to Ghostbag or synced through Chrome. Paper order sizes, balances and trade history are not attached to market requests.

The current build uses services including DexScreener, Jupiter, GeckoTerminal, PumpDev and chain RPC providers. Provider handling of requests is governed by their own policies. The panel also reads token information on supported terminal pages. It does not collect a general browsing-history log.

What the extension does not request or upload

A Ghostbag account or personal identity details
Wallet addresses, keys or seed phrases — the extension has no wallet access at all
Browsing history outside the supported trading sites
Your paper trades, balances or performance

Deleting your data

Export records you want to keep before uninstalling or clearing extension data. Local paper-trade records are held in IndexedDB; removing the extension removes its local storage. A wallet reset starts a fresh run and keeps archived history, so it is not a data-erasure action. Chrome-synced settings and exported files need to be managed separately through Chrome and your device.

No cookies or third-party scripts

This website sets no cookies and loads no analytics, tag manager, advertising pixel, session recorder or embedded third-party script. Typefaces are served from this domain rather than a font network.

If you use the optional profit-calculator lookup, your browser sends the contract address directly to DexScreener to request public pair data. Like any web request, the provider can receive ordinary connection metadata such as your IP address and browser user agent under its own privacy terms. Ghostbag does not receive or store that request. You can leave the lookup empty and enter every number manually.

Children

Ghostbag is not directed at children. Do not include a child's personal information in a support request.

Your rights

Paper-trade records stay on your device. Website hosting providers can process connection metadata when serving the site. If you email support, your email address and message are received through the support email service to respond to your request. Ask the contact below about access, correction or deletion of information you have sent; do not assume uninstalling the extension deletes email correspondence or provider records.
