What Ghostbag is

Ghostbag is a paper-trading simulator. It records hypothetical trades against live market prices using a balance that does not exist. No real funds move, no order is ever placed on any venue, and no transaction is ever signed or broadcast.

Not financial advice

Nothing in Ghostbag is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Simulated results do not predict real ones. Trading memecoins with real money carries a high risk of total loss, and practising here does not reduce that risk. You are responsible for your own decisions.

The simulation is an approximation

Ghostbag models network fees, priority fees, tips, account rent, platform fees, liquidity-pool fees, transfer taxes, price impact, latency, slippage rejection and transaction failure. It is a model. Real execution can and will differ — through routing, MEV, congestion, partial fills and sources being wrong or stale. Do not treat a simulated fill as a promise of a real one.

Market data

Prices come from third-party sources. They may be delayed, incorrect or unavailable, and Ghostbag does not warrant their accuracy. Where a price cannot be established honestly, the extension declines to quote rather than inventing one.

Acceptable use

Use it for practice, research or teaching.
Do not present simulated results as real trading performance to anyone else.
Do not use it to make claims about returns, or to solicit funds.

No warranty

Ghostbag is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for any loss arising from its use — including losses on real trades influenced by it.

Licence to use

Ghostbag is proprietary software provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. You are granted a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use it as distributed. You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, decompile, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from it, or remove or obscure any notice in it. Ghostbag is not open source.

Age

Ghostbag is intended for people old enough to enter a binding contract in their own jurisdiction. It is not directed at children, and it collects no personal information from anyone.

Severability

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
