Estimates only, for learning the mechanics. Real fills depend on the route taken, the block you land in and the depth at that exact moment. Nothing here is financial advice.

Why this one differs

Most calculators forget the two costs that matter.

01

Price impact is a real cost

A calculator that multiplies your size by the spot price assumes infinite depth. Put $1,000 into a $20,000 pool and you move the price against yourself going in — and again coming out, when the pool is thinner than it looked. This calculator walks the constant-product curve on both sides and shows you each number.

02

The break-even multiple is never 1×

With a 1% platform fee and a 1% LP fee charged on entry and exit, you need roughly 1.042× just to return your stake. That is the number most traders never compute, and it is why a portfolio of small wins can still lose money.

Then stop estimating

A calculator is a guess. A ledger is evidence.

This page tells you what a trade would return. Ghostbag records what your trades actually returned — every fill, at the live price, with the same fee and impact model applied automatically, on Solana, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain.

Questions

About this calculator.

How does the calculation work?

Your investment has the platform fee taken off first, then the LP fee off what remains. The rest buys tokens along a constant-product curve derived from the pool liquidity you entered, so a larger order fills at a worse average price. Selling walks the same curve back at the exit price, then pays the platform and LP fees again on the proceeds, and finally subtracts your fixed costs. What is left, minus your original stake, is the net profit.

Where does the live data come from?

Public pair data from DexScreener, requested by your browser when you paste an address. It picks the deepest pool for that token, because that is the one a real router would trade against. Nothing is sent anywhere else, and no address you paste is recorded.

What if I leave the liquidity field empty?

Impact falls to zero and the result becomes an ordinary fee-only calculation — the same answer other calculators give. Filling it in is what makes the number honest for a thin pool.

What is the break-even multiple?

The exit price divided by the entry price at which you get exactly your stake back. It is always above 1×, because you pay fees twice. On a 1% platform and 1% LP pool it is about 1.042×, so a coin that rises 3% is still a losing trade.

Can I practise these trades for real?

Yes — that is what Ghostbag is. It runs this same model live, on top of the terminal you already use, with fake money and real prices. Install it free; there is no account and no wallet connection.
